Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC or hypromellose) is a kind of non-ionic cellulose mixed ether. It is a semi-synthetic, inactive, viscoelastic polymer.

Pharmaceutical Grade

Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is a multi-functional pharmaceutical adjuvant which can be used as thickener, dispersant, emulsifier and film-forming agent. As film coating and binder, it can improve the dissolution rate of drugs. It can also be used as a suspension aid, host material in ophthalmic preparations and etc.

HPMC is made from cotton under strict quality control and in accordance with the requirements of FDA,USP, JP, EP.

The company currently has 5 production lines, namely 10000 tons/year E-type hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, 5000 tons/year pharmaceutical food grade hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, 5000 tons/year hydroxypropyl starch ether, 10000 tons/year K-type hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, and 2500 tons/year pharmaceutical grade microcrystalline cellulose. The current annual production capacity is 32500 tons.
